Liberation Ink
a series of political posters created by youth for youth through Free Zone 2002, a collaboration of GSA Network, LYRIC, and Mission Grafica.

Liberation Ink, a series of 7 posters created by youth to make change in schools, is now available! (Free Posters are available to registered CA GSAs.) The posters are designed to build a presence of youth voices for justice, peace, and youth empowerment and against hatred, harassment, and discrimination of all kinds. We want these posters all over the hallways and classrooms of schools throughout California. We want to change the messages people get in schools. We want to build a presence of youth voices for justice, peace, and youth empowerment and against hatred, harassment, and discrimination of all kinds. This summer in Free Zone, GSA Network and LYRIC worked with Mission Grafica at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts in San Francisco to create this series of posters entitled Liberation Ink. Please order your free posters and start a visual campaign for justice at your school!

This guide includes ideas for using the posters at your school and discussion/journal questions to spark dialogue.
